It's regulatory compliance season! In the past two weeks, I have spoken with many WISPs that are offering VoIP. The FCC (and increasingly the states as well) have gradually imposed many legacy telephone regulations on VoIP providers. These rules apply even if a WISP is reselling services from a wholesaler to its end users. To make compliance straightforward and affordable, I have created a flat fee offer for $1000 that includes the following services:
Ø Assistance with 499-A (due April 1); Ø Assistance with CALEA, FCC Form 445 (due ASAP); Ø Filing CPNI Compliance Statement (due March 1), Creation of Employee Manual, and provide needed Employee Training; Ø Assistance with FCC Form 477 (due March 1); Ø Preparation of Open Internet Principles Statement (ASAP); Ø Assistance with state requirements.
