Hi Andrew/Jim - I am a Product Marketing Manager supporting OpenSolaris with outbound activities and I have been wanting to get involved in the Community as well as the CA's more. I recently sent out an email to the CA's letting them know that we will be building excitement around OpenSolaris next release on May 5th. I am new to supporting OpenSolaris and really want to get the Community a glimpse of the inside happenings and get CA's involved as well. I just interviewed Tim Cramer Senior Director of OpenSolaris Core Engineering and Stephen Hahn Distinguished Engineer and wanted to get the Community visibility to these organic/raw videos. The video is on my blog. http://blogs.sun.com/theopenwaters
I am not promoting any corp hoopla just real happenings and events around OpenSolaris as I know the Community does not want nor need that. -Terri Jim Grisanzio wrote: > Andrew McFarlane wrote: > >> Dear members, >> >> I would like you to consider my proposal for the following group: >> >> Many thanks, >> >> Andrew >> >> >> >> Name: Edinburgh University OpenSolaris User Group >> >> > > This in the UK?
