I don't think I want to send this to @misc yet, but... I had previously downloaded and installed OpenBSD 5.5 on an old computer and was able to update to the stable branch, no problem. Then I received the cd set and Lucas book "Absolute OpenBSD: Unix For The Practical Paranoid," 2nd edition from the OpenBSD Store, with help from the book and advice from Otto, Jan, and Mario in @misc, I've been able to set up custom partition sizes for an OpenBSD install on my fast MP machine w/ oodles of RAM... only this time when I try to check out CVS, I see ...
# cvs -d$CVSROOT checkout -rOPENBSD_5_5 -P src anoncvssh: can't load library 'libc.so.73.1' cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any) I tried re-installing and had the same issue. I will try using the initial CD-ROM made from the online image and see if I have any better results. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Daniel Villarreal
