It's not a good thing, in my opinion, but the number of people who really don't care about any of this is far greater than those who do (i.e. ourselves here). I think supporting open standard platforms like RISC-V is something we should look into, and by "we" I don't necessarily mean the devs, but the open source community at large. I'd be willing to donate in order to build one of these so it can be donated to devs and be ported to.
