Speaking of DDJ, take a look at http://www.ddj.com/  Specifically the
box labeled "PROGRAMMER'S RESOURCES".  I see C/C++, Java, Python, and
even little Tcl there with "top" billing.  Where's Perl?   What do we
have to do to get Perl in there?  (I'm asking rhetorically here,
becaue I'm going to find out dammit!)

If you use DDJ's search facility you'll find ~600 matches for "Java",
~160 for "Perl", ~80 for "Tcl", and ~40 for "Python".  (I omitted C/C++
for obvious reasons)  Are most of the 160 entries for Perl bad reviews
or something?
