Hmm. vim (?) comes with embedded perl. but now perl comes with full embedded emacs [garbage collecting...] emacs advocates would love this - sneaking emacs into vi by the back door. Then you could run viper inside emacs inside perl inside vi. [on the other hand, I believe netscape is bigger than emacs now, so maybe we should include that instead. It still feels weird using a java ssh client to log into a machine and run lynx inside netscape. Some might argue that it's the best way to use netscape to view the www] Nicholas Clark
