in a short survay they found 115 applications with 251 examples of them
being used. and the top example counts are:
25 perl
22 apache
19 linux
the rest are all in single digits.

Other note from the document was that banning Perl would
be "especially difficult since there are no immediately
available commercial equivalents."
It looks a whole lot like DoD is stuck with FOSS.
