And another thing... There was a pile of wailing about perl vs. php, waxing and waning etc., not so long ago. I was looking for some LAMP info on a debian site recently, and the only material I came across was php related. It was almost as though perl did not exist when people are considering Linux, Apache, MySQL and P...? There is something not quite right here (IMHO). Perhaps we need to revive some enthusiasm for advocating perl, by not resting on past laurels but by writing some new ones.
