Suggesting somebody use PHP isn't really a personal attack after they complain that Perl MVC is too hard, and maybe should use Mason, not to mention the childish and ill-informed statements he made, the hat fits, I hear the same "MVC frameworks are hard, the documentation doesn't spoonfeed me enough" from actual PHP Programmers, I like and work with them. Probably an appropriate suggestion - particularly for somebody who describes themselves as not doing much web work.
