Microsoft Vista is incapable of running on most machines. Even if you could run it, you'd find that it takes your general-purpose computer and makes it incapable of doing a lot of things you might want to do, like accessing your hardware (e.g., video cards), running certain third-party applications, or controlling your multimedia and other data files. Today Microsoft has shipped Windows Vista Service Pack 1, and it has done nothing in the way of providing users with more freedom and control of their machines.
