The most likely cause of confusion is that you can have the same
keyword text, but a different match type (e.g Phrase match vs Broad
match vs Exact match).  The text of a keyword does not uniquely
identify it.  In most of the AdWords UI, Google alleviates this
confusion by using special characters to indicate what kind of keyword
it is, e.g.

Some word
[Some word]
"Some word"

In the report, you will need to include the Keyword Type column to be
able to distinguish your keywords that have the same text.
