I've been trying to get PNG upload to work but I'm having issues with them, at least in the sandbox.
I have an extremely simple PNG without transparency, it's 728x90, 72x72, 5K in size that I'm using for tests. The image mode is RGB (created without alpha channel, but even checked through Python PIL library). When I try to upload that in the sandbox it fails with a very generic INVALID_IMAGE. If I convert that image to jpg and upload it works fine. I was wondering if it's possible to have a complete set of rules and limits that adwords automatically checks when uploading ads, I've checked here: http://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/static.py?page=guidelines.cs&topic=16863&subtopic=16865&answer=47179 but it seems a bit incomplete, since I would think I'm complying with all the rules. I can of course share the png image, but it's nothing more than a green background with some black text inside (really just a test ad). -- Valentino Volonghi aka Dialtone Now Running MacOSX 10.6 http://www.adroll.com/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AdWords API Forum" group.
