Hi Dave, Just to be clear, the error message listed in this thread is not part of any rate limit. It appears to be generated by the ClientLogin API:
http://code.google.com/apis/accounts/docs/AuthForInstalledApps.html#Errors It could have been a temporary issue with that service, so let me know if you see this behavior continues.
