Okay,
So maybe there's a reference that explains this, but I haven't found it yet. I'm trying to best undersand how pausing and activating "things" works. There are a variety of things that can be paused or active at any given time, and they're in a hierarchy. Example: Campaign: Active Ad_group: Active Ad: Active Ad shows. Great. Now, is the logic basically that any paused in the hierarchy causes the ad to pause? i.e. Campaign: Active Ad_group: Paused Ad: Active So the ad won't show, correct? Assuming that's correct, what are all the different things that must be Active for an ad to show? (I want a way to verify if a particular ad is showing at a given time or not, and also a way to be sure that if I 'activate' an ad, that there's nothing upstream of it preventing it from showing. ) I'm doing all this through the API, which is why I'm asking here. -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and discussion group: http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com http://groups.google.com/group/adwords-api =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AdWords API Forum" group.
