Hi Becky,

You can link only 2 MCCs to an AdWords account. However, you could invite a 
new login email to manage your account as a normal user and use that login 
to make API calls in your application. For instance, if your account looks 
currently like:

MCC1        MCC2
  |           |
  -------------
       |
    account


If MCC1 or MCC2 belongs to you, then you could invite a new user to manage 
that MCC and use that login to make API calls. Better yet, I'd create 
another MCC as a buffer between one of the MCCs and use that login. 
Something like

MCC1        MCC2
  |          | 
new MCC      |
  |          |
  ------------
       |
    account
