The main impact for us is primarily reporting as well. The extra characters make the existing keywords appear to be different and we now have a large amount of keywords that don't match the actual keyword anymore. We either need to apply a patch for this and start the clean-up work, or wait for Google to revert this behavior. I would very much appreciate if someone from Google could tell us whether they are fixing this or not as soon as possible.
