have done some testing and the problem is with the timezone. when i originally set up my experiment the experiments were not activating for several hours afterwards. i was advised by google to put "europe/london" on the end of the startdate and enddate of the experiment. But this is what is causing the issue when i take it off again the experiment data comes back fine.
