Hi Fraser

It's good to see that you have got access back. We also have a keyword tool
- we are still waiting to see if we get temporary access. It's frustrating
waiting however - especially hearing on a few users here and on other blogs
getting access back.

There is plenty of speculation as to what Google requires from API usage -
for example the functionality or how they want it used. I wish Google would
be much clearer on this. The whole problem regarding disabling tokens and
this forum topic just highlights the need for some kind of customer support.
It feels like there is a giant brick wall between end users and the API
team. We may be thinking too much... but the lack of communication from
Google hasn't helped with this.

Your Google AdWords point is a good one. My keyword tool is promoted to
assist with keyword research prior to a PPC campaign and also includes
keyword PPC estimates on request. If I'm promoting it as a tool to help with
a Google AdWords campaign - surely it must be positive for them to keep it
going? Who knows - the whole thing is just a big headache :( As you
mention... it does seem hopeless.

Good luck with your app, hope it continues and does well in the future :)
