I'm not sure if this has been brought up previously, but the new LocationCriterionService uses different selector and daterange objects. I believe it is because the daterange uses a date instead of a string for the upper and lower bounds, causing the containing classes to differ.
I noticed this while building our wsdl proxy generator.
