I'm using the {creative} ValueTrack parameter to get the ad id for a
Product Listing Ad, which is working fine. However, as an ad id is not
unique by itself, I need the addgroupid as well. But I don't see any value
track parameter for that on
http://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=178482.
I've tried {adgroupid} and {adgroup} but currently can't get the right PLAs
to display, so I can determine if it's working. Anyone knows how to get the
ad group id for a PLA?
Along the same lines, it would be very useful if there was a tool/page
available for testing PLAs, i.e. you'd have a way of making them always
display so you could test out new parameters etc. That would have saved me
hours of testing, hoping the PLAs will display after waiting overnight
typically for the latest product feed to finish processing.
