Hi Akil, AdHoc Reports expect date range in YYYYMMDD format, so you cannot mention hourly breakup in date range. See http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/reference/latest/ReportDefinitionService.Selector.html#dateRange for details.
You can however aggregate data on an hourly basis by requesting HourOfDay column in reports. See http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/reportguide.html for details. Cheers, Anash P.
