The link you've posted is broken (I understand this discussion was quite 
some time ago) but I am interested in this topic, as I am creating an swf 
for a client to upload to adwords, but it needs to be able to pull data 
from a database at *their* *domain. * I'm getting cross-domain errors, and 
would normally use a php proxy to handle this as the client's domain is 
hosted at 1&1 and (a) 1&1 doesn't allow crossdomain.xml policy changes and 
(b) the client doesn't wish to change hosts.  Not sure how a proxy would 
work with adwords - can I upload a php script somehow along with the swf?
