First of all, I am using the Ruby client library. Here is my situation. I
am using an MCC test account which has another linked account. So far I
have been able to get information from the Adwords API without any problem.
Particularly, I am focused on getting the account hierarchy. No problem so
far.
However, when setting the validate_only flag to true, the only thing I get
back is this:
{:@xmlns=>"https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/mcm/v201309";,
:"@xmlns:ns2"=>"https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/cm/v201309"}
I don't know why is this happening just when setting that flag. Ideally, I
would want to use that flag to fetch production accounts in a read-only
mode. But something seems broken when setting that flag.
Any thoughts?
