Michael,
What AdWords API version were you using? For call extension, you should
use the Feed
service<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/feed-services>.
The call extension can be used w/ the feed service by using appropriate
placeholder
types <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/placeholders>
