Hi, The Python libraries are not currently compatible with AppEngine. We're aware of this and are working on it, but I don't have a specific date for when AppEngine support will be available.
If you don't need to use AppEngine, then you may want to try out the many samples we have on github<https://github.com/googleads/googleads-python-lib/tree/master/examples/adwords/v201402> .
