I used the Lynx browser (on Linux) to login to  

https://accounts.google.com/DisplayUnlockCaptcha form the broswer.  Franky, 
this a pretty dumb security hurdle for developers to have to jump through. 
  I'll bet there's a UI somewhere in the Google dev API console where you 
can just enter an IP address...  where that might actually be from one page 
to another is anyones guess.
