Hi, I don't think the *TargetingIdeaService* will support setting match type directly. However, you could add keywords with specific types to your ad group and then use that ad group's ID in a SeedAdGroupIdSearchParameter <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201409/TargetingIdeaService.SeedAdGroupIdSearchParameter>, and AdWords will use the settings of that ad group to generate targeting ideas.
