Hello, I believe this is working as intended. The "Interactions" column on the web interface represents a different kind of action depending on the type of ad. Here's a support link describing this: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/6281923
The "Clicks" column in the AdWords API has always had an unfortunate name, as it represents not specifically clicks but rather all "Interactions" the same way that they are defined for the AdWords UI. We are aware of this unfortunate naming discrepancy. Unfortunately, I don't think there is currently a way to specifically obtain only clicks via the API.
