Hello Willy, PHP 5.2 is unsupported in PHP Ads client lib since release v6.1 <https://github.com/googleads/googleads-php-lib/releases/tag/6.1.0>. And most developers have migrated to supported versions already.
So confirm there was some changes on the API right? Yes, this is because of important security reasons listed in this post <http://googleadsdeveloper.blogspot.jp/2014/07/deprecating-php-52-support-for-ads-php.html> in mid 2014. We have prolonged this change for more than one year and a half. Is there any temporary solution for PHP 5.2 user? The only solution is to migrate to PHP 5.3. I apologize for your inconvenience but could you please migrate to a supported version? Besides, API v201506 will be no longer supported very soon (11 April 2016 <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/sunset-dates#api-versions>). We highly recommend you to migrate to use v201601 (client lib v8.1.0 <https://github.com/googleads/googleads-php-lib/releases/tag/8.1.0>) or v201509 (client lib v7.0.0 <https://github.com/googleads/googleads-php-lib/releases/tag/7.0.0>).
