Could you please confirm if you are using MediaService.upload <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201607/MediaService#upload> operation in uploading the media file? I ask this because based from the doc <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201607/AdGroupAdService.Image#type>, the field Image.type (*e.g. DYNAMIC_IMAGE*) is required when using the MediaService.upload to upload the new media file. Also, please make sure that the gif file meets the technical requirements specified here <https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/176108#ani_ads>.
If you confirmed that you are not using the MediaService.upload and if the gif meets the specified requirements and the issue still persists, could you please send the SOAP request and response by clicking on *reply privately to author* on this forum thread?
