Hi, Are you looking to update your text ads to expanded text ads? This tutorial <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/expanded-text-ads#upgrade_tips> would be of help, in that case. If not, unfortunately, all fields (except status) in an expanded text ad are immutable and therefore cannot be updated. Your best bet would be to update the status of the ad to DISABLED and then create a new ad. For that purpose, you could use the AdGroupAdService.mutate <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201607/AdGroupAdService#mutate> .
