Hi Dan, Yes, you'll need to use two separate operations; one to create a Label <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201702/LabelService.Label> and another one to apply the Label to your AdGroupAds <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201702/AdGroupAdService.AdGroupAd>. To associate an existing Label <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201702/AdGroupAdService.Label.html> to an existing AdGroupAd <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201702/AdGroupAdService.AdGroupAd.html>, you need to use AdGroupAdService.mutateLabel <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201702/AdGroupAdService.html#mutateLabel> with ADD operator. You can also associate an existing label during Ad creation by specifying the Label in the labels <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201702/AdGroupAdService.AdGroupAd#labels> field of the AdGroupAd.
