Hi Danny, As for specifying a dateRangeType (whether its a custom date range <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/reporting#custom_date_ranges> or a pre-defined date range <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/reporting#date_ranges>), it should only affect the volume of records that you wish to pull, meaning, only the data that have generated performance statistics during that period will be returned.
