Hi, You are right, the latest version of python client library requires python 3.4 or higher. Your approach might work for services/reports which does not have any changes between the V201609 and V201708 version of the API. You might run into unexpected issues while working with services/reports which did change between these versions. I strongly suggest that you download the latest library version without modifying the old version. If you have more questions about the impact of your approach, my suggestion is to ask the question on the client library issues tracker <https://github.com/googleads/googleads-python-lib/issues> as the library owner will have more insights about this.
