Hi, As a workaround, since Impressions are supported in reports, you could download reports by referring to our sample codes <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/samples/python/reporting> and reporting guidelines <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/reporting>. You could use the Adgroup Performance Report <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/adgroup-performance-report> and include the Impressions <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/adgroup-performance-report#impressions> field.
