The error deadline exceeded may be encountered when you are trying to pull
reports that are too big which causes timeouts. To prevent this error from
occurring, you may want to add more predicates and add a date range to
limit your result. You may refer to this guide
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/reporting#timeouts>
for further details.
If you still encounter this error even after applying the predicates, could
you provide the complete report definition
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/reporting#create_a_report_definition>
used and the clientCustomerId via *reply privately to author* so I can
investigate this further?

This same query works just fine with smaller accounts.
