Hello Jippe,
I tried the same request at my end and was able to get the type as
EXPANDED_TEXT_AD in my response instead of UNSPECIFIED. I would recommend
you to upgrade to the latest version
<https://github.com/googleads/google-ads-python/releases> incase you are
still using the old version. If you are still facing the issue please
enable logging as shown here and share the complete error logs using *reply
privately to the author* option.
