I'm trying to pull a report from the Google Ads API that will show performance metrics (impressions, clicks, cost) for search/search partners campaigns (old-school campaigns :))
However, I've noticed that the moment my report includes both ad_group_ad (anything under that) and segments.keyword (anything under that), the metrics all drop. When viewing in the AdWords web UI the numbers match those I'd get on the report if I dropped one (or both) of those segments (to clarify, in the web UI I can request both segments and get the full numbers). I've been toying with this for a while trying to figure out what, specifically, is getting dropped but getting nowhere. Has anyone seen this behavior before? Can someone shed some light on this? -D PS. Are there other reports that will allow a single-attribution style report including keywords and ads, to help analyze campaign performance?
