With regard to your concern about timeout message, unfortunately, it is currently not supported to return the error message in AdWords API. It should return a general error, possibly about connection, or the process just stops. If you want to avoid the issue, I would suggest that you try to the suggestion that Ejay provided previously in this thread. Please let me know if you have further concerns.
