Hi Nathan,

Through the API, it is not possible to pause the status of a DMA region. The 
location IDs specific to DMA regions are handled by The Nielsen Company 
directly for DMA data. If you're looking for a solution through the Google Ads 
UI, please reach out to the AdWords Product Team through the help icon 
available in the top right corner once you're logged into the account.
