Hi Rita, Currently, App Campaigns are not yet fully supported in the AdWords API. What is currently supported are Universal App Campaigns as you may see in this guide. That being said, applying ad groups to UACs is currently not supported. We also do not have any further information as to when the AdWords API can fully support App Campaigns and the addition of ad groups. For now, you may continue to follow our blog for any announcements or updates regarding this topic.
