Yes, this has been addressed as of V3. You can use the GoogleAdsService:searchStream <https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v3/GoogleAdsService#searchstream> method. See the tutorial <https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/reporting/streaming> or one <https://github.com/googleads/google-ads-python/blob/master/examples/basic_operations/get_campaigns.py> of several Python code examples.
