Hello, The Google Ads API is the next generation of the AdWords API, so we recommend using the Google Ads API. The Ads API exposes both standard JSON REST endpoints and a gRPC interface, whereas the AdWords API is a SOAP API. Although you may not be using the AdWords API, you can find more information about changes that were made between the two APIs in the migration guide.
