For the reports which fail I request the next combination of fields:

'ConversionAdjustmentLagBucket', 
'ExternalConversionSource', 
'AdNetworkType1',
'ConversionAdjustment',
'LabelIds',
'Labels',
'Amount',
'Conversions',
'ConversionValue',
'AllConversions',
'AllConversionValue',
'CrossDeviceConversions',
'ConversionRate',
And if looks like problematic metric is 'ConversionRate'.
So now I'm +1 to Johan's question on proper documentation version.
