You should be able to receive rows based only on the segmentation you define in your query. If no other segmentation fields are included, you should be able to retrieve rows based on the age range specified in your account. In addition, you may also consider what is discussed on this document that rows with zero impression are always excluded when segmenting a report. If one of the 7 rows has zero impression, then that row will not be returned in the API response. Hope that I clarified your question. Let me know if you have further questions.
