With regard to fetching metrics from reports, any results coming from the API should match what's on the UI. For our team to further check on this, could you share with us the following details below? Screenshots to the UI showing those discrepancies Complete report definition Please send the requested details via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our [email protected] alias instead. As an aside, as per this blog post, the Placement Performance Report for the AdWords API and Google Ads scripts will exclude automatic placements according to data retention policy changes. Afterwards, the Placement Performance Report will only contain the data for managed and excluded placements at the ad group level. Could you check on that blog and see if that answers your question as to why the API is returning empty results?
