The previous Adwords api returns a complete list of parent locations when
requesting Geo Targets. The new Google Ads Api does not return a complete
list and does not match the results from the Google Ads UI.
How can we retrieve the full hierarchy of parent locations when migrating?
For example:
- A search for atqasuk returns the following under "Locations that
include: Atqasuk, Alaska" and a query for the Atqasuk location id in the
Adwords Api returns the same
- North Slope, Alaska, United States (county)
- Fairbanks AK (DMA Region)
- Alaska (State)
- Alaska's Congressional District (congressional district)
- United States (country)
- A Query to the New GeoTargetConstant Suggestion service returns only
- Alaska (State)
- United States (Country)
- A query to the Google Ads Api Report Service returns only a single
parent location
- Alaska (State)
