I can see that you are in this phase when you've encountered the issue. Unfortunately, our team would not be able to provide support to your concern about finding the email address of the project as it is encountered in GCP and outside of our scope already. With this, I would suggest reaching out to the GCP support team via this link to help you on finding the email address. However, the workaround is indeed to generate another account and use it in the authentication. Please note that the email address / user account account that you will use in creating Oauth2 credential should have an admin access to the Google Ads accounts that you want to manage using API.
