I suspect the power lies with those who have admin duties on the GitHub project. (A duty which we tried to spread around geographically, and which I'd liken more to a janitor that has keys to all the rooms than to any sort of leadership/authority position.) This idea sounds good to me. I just went ahead and added "bug" (scary red label), "feature" (pleasant green label), "minor" (cyan), and "severe" (black == death). I also created "api" and "tim" labels, upon noticing that we had a lot of issues mentioning those two things. We may want to add more as we find them useful -- especially on things we might want to filter/sort on. Note that I created these figuring that the easiest course of action was for us to try out your suggestion. If there's a consensus that labels are the devil's work, or that the labels I created should be different, I'm more than happy to make changes (or have someone else change them). It's very easy to undo, change, or add more as we go. -- Matt
