And if you look closely, thin 0.7.0 was the Spherical Cow release.

I'll give my 2 cents (because, you know, what's more important than naming ;) ).

I like those fun names a lot. However, with all respect to Klaus, I see 
Gabelstaplerfahrer as an exception, because one has to put some effort into 
remembering the correct spelling here. So I'm all for funny names, but I think 
we should also consider how easy it will be to remember and google.
